Congratulations to Berk Smith

2024 Jim Boswell Award Recipient

Friday, November 1, 2024 – The Plano Chamber of Commerce held their annual Best of Plano Awards Banquet.  Berk Smith, Hendrick Executive Board Member and Coach was awarded the Jim Boswell Award for his outstanding service to the Hendrick Scholarship Foundation.

The Jim Boswell Award was established in 2009 to honor an individual for their serving, giving and leadership as was exemplified by the late Jim Boswell. He was well-known by the community as Mr. Plano

Rutledge Haggard, Chair Emeritus for HSF and the 2023 Boswell Award recipient presented the award to Berk at the event.  Berk’s wife and HSF staff were there to see him receive it that evening.  Thank you to the Plano Chamber for allowing us the opportunity to recognize Berk at your event.
