Gene and Brentz Brooks Forever Scholarship

Gene and Brentz Brooks moved to Plano in 1967 where Brentz, the daughter of educators, was hired personally by Dr. Hendrick to teach elementary school in the growing district. Brentz served the district in various roles over the years, making many lifelong friends. Like Dr. Hendrick, Gene and Brentz believed in the power of education and the importance of student support. Both of their children graduated from Plano Senior High and two grandsons graduated from Plano West Senior High. Over the years, Gene and Brentz gave to the Hendrick Scholarship Foundation to help additional students achieve their potential.

It is with honor that this Scholarship is established in their memory to serve future students.
