On Thursday, September 19th, 2024, HSF joined over 3,000 nonprofits for Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day—a monumental event fueling the missions of organizations like ours. 

Thank you to all our donors and fundraisers, including our coaches, board members, current students and alumni.  All these efforts and donations show how much the community cares for our organization and the students we support. 

These funds enable us to offer scholarships and a comprehensive support system to Plano ISD graduates who have faced and overcome significant challenges. With a personal coach, life-skills workshops, career guidance, and a community that truly cares about our scholars as they climb to new heights.  

HSF awards up to $20,000 to each of our undergrad scholars that we bring into our program over the course of 4-6 years.  The $49,100 that was raised during NTXGiving Day will provide funds for 2.5 of those scholarships for students in our new 2025 cohort in the Spring
